Tackling Complex Multi-Product Design at Scale: CBS Interactive

In 2019, as Head of Design for CBS Interactive’s CNET media group, I led teams to grow iconic properties like CNET, Gamespot, TV Guide, Metacritic, and ZDNET, driving customer growth to 225M+ globally and setting records in engagement and revenue - ultimately resulting in a $500M acquisition by Red Ventures. Central to this success was Neutron, a cross-functional platform that optimized efficiency, performance, and innovation, delivering scalable, user-centered design solutions with enhanced security and performance across multiple products.

“Sushant is a thoughtful and creative design leader who consistently delivers. He excels at partnering with other groups such as product, PMO, developers, engineers, marketers and other key stakeholders.”
— Matt McMahon, General Manager, CBS Interactive
“Creativity is a wonderful gift, which Sushant has in spades, but the ability to motivate and inspire others to understand and share in your creative vision is where he truly excels. That’s his super power!
— Jason Trester, VP Engineering , CBS Interactive
